Chelsea and Mike are destined companions. Chelsea, from Atlanta, and Mike, from New York, met in the middle during their time in Washington DC. Their love for adventure, travel, animals, the beach, sailing and hanging out with friends made them inseparable from the very first day they met. Five years later, 7 countries (in 3 continents) visited, they are tying the knot in Atlanta, GA.
Brianna Wagenbrenner
Brianna and I were together for our first steps, words, crushes, boyfriends, heartbreaks, jobs, and major accomplishments. We are complete opposites, but have all the same mannerisms and are the perfect pair. We will always win the games we play together, out talk and laugh anyone else in the room and be there for one another. It’s a twin thing- love you!
Shannon Wagenbrenner
There’s something really special about having a little sister- she will take your side when you are fighting with your siblings, she will be your DD when you and your friends cannot drive, and she will always remind you that you’re the coolest! Most importantly I have another best friend. Shannon is always there to listen when I need to vent, celebrate with me when I’m excited and sit and watch hours of SVU with me when we want to be couch potatoes. I love you ShayLo!
Karen Seid
Karen will always tell you things the way they really are. She is beautiful inside and out, so creative, real and genuine. I have loved our times together being food snobs, crashing family New Year’s parties and riding bikes through Venice Beach. I cannot wait for more memories together. More sisters is always better- love you!
Ellie Seid
Ellie and I really got to know each other on the family trip to Switzerland. I taught her how to pet a cow, she spoke in french with our hitchhiking driver, and we beat Mike and Karen at Kemps! Ellie is beautiful, creative, hilarious, kind and fun with such an infectious smile. I cannot wait to have another sister- love you!
Lauren Canfield
Lauren, or as I met her, Ms. Canfield, and I became friends because we are nerds. She carried me through World History and I dragged her to Model UN. Our History & Politics paths led us both to DC. Whether we were watching the inauguration together, debating over feminism in political parties, or dancing on a bar in capitol hill - I can always use more Canfield in my life.
Kayleigh Obrian
Kayleigh and I met our freshman year at Georgia in Arabic class. Leave it to me to find a liberal from boston who loves international affairs and feminism more than me. From Athens to DC to California we are lucky to keep our paths together. No matter where we are I will always take a detour to visit this amazing woman.
Leah Wilson
You know that friend who you can tie almost every shenanigan to from your childhood? The one who you dread the day when your kids ask her “what was my mom like when she was my age?” because you know she will tell them the truth? Leah is that best friend- my fake twin, my bad role model, my rom-com binge watching partner, and soon my bridesmaid.
Nikki Scarpelli
I love being with Nikki because I can be so real and exactly who I am. She is one of the most genuine people I know. Since high school going anywhere with Nikki is like being with the most popular girl in the room. She can make you laugh until you cry while simultaneously making you feel like the best version of yourself. Together we will always be young, wild and free.
Vicki Hughes
Ever since high school, Vicki has been my friend who keeps me dreaming, tells me to follow my heart, and always reminds me that everything happens for a reason. When we are together, no matter how long it has been, I still feel like we are sitting in her car eating dove chocolates and singing Journey at the top of our lungs.
Sarah Zagorski
When I met Sarah in middle school it felt like we had always known each other. When she came over to my house for the first time, my mom immediately pulled out a picture from my 5th birthday party and there was Sarah. In that moment I knew we would be friends forever. We partied and studied together in college, spent countless DC2NY buses visiting each other in our first cities and are still able to connect on the west coast. I love you Meiister.
Becca Jones Martin
You can tell right away that Becca is a mom, brutally honest and incredibly loyal. She will always take care of you, tell you exactly what she is thinking and have your back. I can go to her house and spend all day with her, Cooper, and Jim, just like I’m a member of the family. Becca will always be there for me and all of her adopted sisters; she is the friend everyone needs and loves to have around.
Megan Danialson
I feel like Megan and I met in a RomCom, we were on a skeeball team with mutual friends, and one night it felt like we just made a pact- “hey, let’s be best friends!” We connected immediately and were soon spending weekly date nights talking over many bottles of wine making up for lost time. Even after leaving DC we have stayed connected with vacations, tasting wine in Sonoma and hiking in Denver. What did I do without you the first twenty years of my life?
Matt Seid
Matt and I are the classic brother duo. Somehow we both enjoy the same things, while being totally opposite at the same time. From playing knee hockey in the basement to snowboarding in Vermont, we are always the dynamic duos(who are sometime confused as twins).
Cameron Wagenbrenner
I'll always remember crashing at your place in Athens, GA after a long day of some amazing Georgia Football. Whether it's playing Canjam or flying Drones, I'm excited to be call you my brother. Plus, when I get hurt, you'll be the first doctor I call.
Liam Wagenbrnner
Liam always keeps me going, playing Basketball, Board Games and all the most hip iPhone games. I'll still never be able to beat you in head soccer, but I'm so happy that you'll be new brother and can show me all the cool things!
Greg Nasso
Oooo man, the memories. Every single great one had Mr. Greggor there. Pulling all nighters every week senior year(while playing basketball after working all night), or pulling all nighters across Europe, Greg is my main man.
Garrett Koek
I'll never forget of Garrett our freshmen year rocking a red bandana playing SCUD till the sun rise. Garret always brought a down to earth prospective, a fun vibe and a laze fair attidue, which is why we always made every moment a great time. Even during some ocassional all nighters, we would talk about the great wars of history.
Mike Ryave
Mikey always felt like a brother to me. Ever since the first time I met him my Sophmore year of college I knew we were bros. That is why I made sure he was Little Brother in our fraternity, Chi Phi. Whether partyin in Rochester, NYC or anywhere else, he will always be my brother from another mother.
David Michaelson
Ahhhh-Yooooo. David B Michaelson is the cultured(and well dressed) man who walked the campius of U of R. He taught me many things about whiskey, sailing and how to smoke a good pipe. It's an honor to now call him my UK homie.
Andy Newbold
Weighin a hair under two bucks, almost as tall as Dirk Nowitzki, hailing from Kansas City Missouri, Andy Newbold!!!!! Andy has been my roommate and now my San Francisco partner in crime. Wouldn't want in any other way.
Ben Wrobel
I often call Wrobs my rock. He has been on my best friends from Larchmont, through college, and was my roommate in DC. He always pushes me to read great books, attend fun events, and shake the hand of the Rev. Al Sharpton. Also, we are two time SCUD bowl champions.
Chris McClellan
Chris and I first met during our first week at NPR. He is a kindered spirit, and we can(and do) talk for hours about start ups, beer, life and philosiphy. Even though we are 3,000 miles apart, we still bounce ideas, thoughts and prospectives all the time. I'll tell ya one thing, Chris will definitely be picking our beer list!
